After explaining the Spanish naming system, this paper traces the process of their acceptance of Spanish names from 16th century to the modern era, taking up some non-Spanish persons and their names; La Malinche, José Rizal, Rigoberta Menchú, Evo Morales, etc., including names of common individuals. At the very beginning of Spanish Conquest, baptized indigenous people acquired Spanish baptismal names. However, it is in the second half of the 19th and the 20th century that the Spanish naming system and the concept of family names were accepted widely. Modern states as James Scott points out, have projects of standardization and legibility. Permanent and inherited patronyms are necessary for state formation. Indigenous people tactically changed their names officially into Spanish names at eventual occasions. Above all, when many indigenous children were involved in modern education system, they were registered in accordance to the Spanish naming system. But at the same time they continue to use indigenous names in personal intimate sphere. Recently, this tendency has begun to move toward the opposite direction. Mexico, which declared herself a multicultural nation in 1992, recommends that indigenous people adopt their proper native names.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_description_6":{"attribute_name":"内容記述","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"誤植の修正(技術上の問題で下線表記できないので、修正内容を文面で説明)\n修正部分:106頁、注1)1行目から2行目 “María de los Romedios”\n修正内容:下線の切断部分をつなげる。","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10002_heading_23":{"attribute_name":"見出し","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"国際シンポジウム「姓名とエスニシティ」特集","subitem_heading_language":"ja"},{"subitem_heading_banner_headline":"Symposium \"Names and Ethnicity\"","subitem_heading_language":"en"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"獨協大学国際教養学部言語文化学科"}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11419434","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"1345-2770","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"佐藤, 勘治"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"SATO, Kanji","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-04-28"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"P-095-Ma72-16(2)-7.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"597.1 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"P-095-Ma72-16(2)-7","url":"https://dokkyo.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/374/files/P-095-Ma72-16(2)-7.pdf"},"version_id":"e3f51a0c-c9f6-4185-b1a9-2b8d0f0a0b5b"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"旧スペイン領非スペイン系住民によるスペイン語姓名の受容","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"旧スペイン領非スペイン系住民によるスペイン語姓名の受容"},{"subitem_title":"Acceptance of elements of Spanish names and the naming system by natives in the Spanish ex-colonies","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"3","path":["72"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2016-04-28"},"publish_date":"2016-04-28","publish_status":"0","recid":"374","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["旧スペイン領非スペイン系住民によるスペイン語姓名の受容"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":3},"updated":"2023-06-19T13:07:03.846476+00:00"}
